Roy G. Guerrero Colorado River Park

This huge tract of land contains baseball and softball fields, a picnic shelter, playground, volleyball courts and over 2.3 miles of greenway trails.

The Roy G. Guerrero Colorado River Park resides on  363 acres on the Colorado River and has been largely undeveloped since its purchase as parkland.  The park hosts baseball and softball fields, a picnic shelter and playground, volleyball courts and 2.3 miles of trails.   This project included improvements to playing fields, parking and drives, and pedestrian paths for the Montopolis Youth Baseball Complex.  Improvements also included a recreational sports field, pedestrian and vehicular circulation system, access to the river’s edge and a 100 acre nature preserve and interpretive area.
