Proposed to be the tallest building in Austin upon completion
The Independent will be a high rise condominium building consisting of approximately 400 residential units and approximately 15,000 square feet of ground floor retail. The project will include seven parking levels, two amenity levels and 48 residential levels located at the intersection of West Avenue and West Third Street in Austin. The exterior design will include a wide pedestrian streetscape.
UDG’s civil engineering services provided to 3rd & West, LP include a tree canopy survey, preparation of a consolidated site plan, drainage, water and wastewater and construction plans, and plans for utilities, erosion/sedimentation control, tree protection, and floodplain modeling.
