As prime consultant, UDG assembled a project team to provide dramatic improvements including reconstruction of intersections, lighting, specialty pavement, landscaping, Capital Metro transit stops, driveway consolidations, access drive design and parking layout, sidewalk design and public art.

For major intersections, colored pavers were arranged in the intersection and crosswalk areas. Public art included custom-designed obeliscos designed by area artists, and landscaping included several pocket parks. Planters at major intersections display colorful custom tiles and include palms and a variety of trees and plants.
