|Gaines Ranch is a 150.51 acre multi-use planned unit development on Loop 1 South in Austin, Texas. Due to its proximity to the Barton Creek Wilderness Park, strict development regulations required the treatment of stormwater. UDG provided planning and design of the drainage systems including several stormwater treatment facilities that provide irrigation pumps for spray application of captured runoff onto undeveloped areas in the development. TNRCC permits were secured by UDG for the project. UDG also designed water and wastewater infrastructure to serve the project, including a 400 gpm wastewater lift station.
UDG designed 1700 L.F. of roadway and associated storm sewer improvements. Additionally, UDG prepared and processed plans for TxDOT approval for 1500 L.F. of frontage road and exit ramp improvements from Loop 1 (MoPac) to provide direct access to Gaines Ranch.
